Privacy Policy – Touch (Football Juggling)

Effective Date: March 10, 2025

At Touch, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting any personal information you provide while using our mobile application for football juggling training. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. We do not record, store, or transmit any video or camera footage.

1. Camera & Video

The camera is used solely for real-time on-device pose detection to count juggles. No video is recorded. No video is stored. No camera footage is ever transmitted to any server, third party, or Supabase. All processing happens on your device. We do not have access to any video or images from your camera.

On-Device Processing:

Skeleton tracking uses Apple's Vision framework and runs entirely on-device. No biometric data, pose data, or movement data is transmitted anywhere. Nothing from the camera leaves your device.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the following:

  • Account data: email address and account credentials (via Supabase Auth).
  • Session data: best kicks per session, left foot kicks, right foot kicks.
  • Streak data: current and historical streak counts.
  • Weekly challenge data: weekly challenge completion records.
  • Onboarding answers: skill level, goal, foot preference, practice frequency, favourite player (if provided).
  • Subscription status: whether you have an active subscription (managed via Apple App Store and our subscription providers).

We do not use any third-party AI services. Touch does not use OpenAI or any other external AI for processing your data.

3. Data We Do Not Collect

We explicitly do not collect:

  • Video or images from your camera
  • Biometric data
  • Location data
  • Health or medical data
  • Financial data (payments are handled entirely by the Apple App Store; we never see or store payment details)
  • Contacts
  • Microphone data

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide the juggling counter, tier progression, and weekly challenges.
  • Store and display your session history, streaks, and foot split analytics.
  • Manage your account and subscription.
  • Send important updates about the app (e.g. service notices).
  • Improve the app and user experience (using aggregated, non-identifying usage data where applicable).

5. Third-Party Processors

We use the following third-party services:

  • Supabase: Session and account data are stored on Supabase servers. Supabase acts as our data processor. You can review their privacy policy at https://supabase.com/privacy.
  • RevenueCat: This SDK handles subscription management. It may collect device identifiers and purchase history. RevenueCat does not receive camera data or personal health information.
  • Superwall: This SDK handles paywall presentation. It may collect device identifiers and purchase-related data. Superwall does not receive camera data or personal health information.

We are not responsible for the security practices or data handling of these third parties. You are encouraged to review their privacy policies.

6. Minors – COPPA & Global Compliance

Touch is designed for users aged 14–17 and older. Users under 13 are not permitted to use the app. If you are under 13, you must not use Touch. If we become aware that a user is under 13, we will delete their data.

For users aged 13–17, where required by law (e.g. COPPA in the United States, GDPR-K in the European Union), we recognize parental rights. Parents or guardians may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of their child's data.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area or another jurisdiction that provides these rights, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data.
  • Portability: Request your data in a portable format.
  • Restriction: Request restriction of processing in certain circumstances.
  • Objection: Object to certain types of processing.

To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in the Contact section. We will respond within a reasonable period, and in any event within 30 days where required by law.

8. Payments

All payments are processed by the Apple App Store. Touch never sees or stores your payment information. Refunds are governed exclusively by Apple's refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.

9. Data Retention & Deletion

You may request full account and data deletion at any time. Upon deletion, all session data, account data, and challenge records stored in Supabase will be permanently removed. Contact us to submit a deletion request.

10. Streak & Gamification Data

Streak counts, tier progress, weekly champion counts, and session statistics are stored in Supabase to power the in-app progression system. This data is linked to your account and is covered by the same security and deletion practices described in this policy.

11. No Selling of Data

Touch does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers under any circumstances. We do not use your data for advertising or for any purpose other than providing and improving the Touch service.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the app. Continued use of Touch after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
